It has quickly become a warm weather staple in every good knitter's stash, only becoming more and more popular since it hit the knitting scene in 2011. It supplies a superb texture, unmatched by any other yarn, and creates unique garments that become wardrobe standouts.

The ROMANCE SHELL is a fabulous addition to the RIPPLE stable of garments. The perfect summer piece, it's made for layering over a tee or tank, almost as an accessory--it certainly has the highlights to be one! From the lovely, ruffled collar, which grows from the neck up to the shoulders and plays with the rippling texture of the yarn, to the wide ribbing, which takes on a subtle, reflective quality in RIPPLE, the ROMANCE SHELL lives up to its name: full of romance and femininity, but not at all fussy.

RIPPLE's popularity has forced our hand, but we couldn't be more delighted about it! Because garments in RIPPLE are in such high demand, we have decided to release previous year's patterns in two mini-booklets which contain 4 patterns each. The first RIPPLE leaflet (top right) includes the twisted-front REMSEN PULLOVER, the WARREN 2-WAY JACKET, the DEGRAW TANK, and the MYRTLE PULLOVER. The second, RIPPLE II (bottom right), includes a colorblocked tee and three cardigans. DESIGN NOTE: The front left panel of the ROMANCE SHELL is tacked down to keep it closed, but one could just as easily leave it open for a more relaxed look, or add a small button for both options.
