National Trails Day Success
Our National Trails Day event in Grand Teton was a huge success thanks to a group of ambitious volunteers and park rangers. The team worked for five hours on the Valley Trail near Bradley and Taggart lakes. Thanks to our volunteers and rangers for their hard work and effort last month!
On Saturday, August 2nd, Grand Teton National Park Foundation will be the local non-profit beneficiary of the Jackson Hole Farmer's Market. GTNPF will receive 10% of all sales from each vendor. Mark your calendars!
Grand Teton Trivia
Which Teton peak is named for the Shoshone Indian word meaning "pinnacles"?

Teewinot Mountain, for the Shoshone word Tee-Win-At. Apparently the Shoshone applied the term to the entire Teton Range and not just to one peak.
