Home Health Care Service - Now & Then. Now that SB 863 is in effect, massive changes have taken place with regard to the authorization of home health care services. Therefore, it is important to understand the history behind the concept of home health care services as medical treatment pursuant to Labor Code Section 4600. The recent panel decision of Williams v. Claire's Stores Inc., 2012 Cal. Wrk. Comp. P.D. LEXIS 497, discusses the basic standard for reimbursement of home health care services. It also provides valuable lessons that will remain relevant even after the SB 863 effective date. Read more. |
