The second annual Pier Party raised $125,000 to fund incredible programs throughout our district next year! Check out these student leaders from Will Rogers Learning Community. The Will Rogers student council collected plastic bottles from their Jog-a-thon and turned them in for money, which was matched 100% by WRLC's current matching campaign. From trash to $100 in cash to support all students in the district! SMMEF applauds your activism, WRLC students! 

An inspiring musical documentary, BIG VOICE follows a year in the life of Santa Monica High

School choir teacher Jeffe Huls, who pushes his students to become "one big voice." As the beneficiary of this film, SMMEF is proud to promote BIG VOICE. 

BIG VOICE is having a fundraising screening on Thursday, May 7 at 7pm at Santa Monica High School's Barnum Hall to raise funds for completion costs, and we hope you will join us. Tickets are on sale now.

Following the film will be a Q&A with Director Varda Bar-Kar and Choir Director Jeffe Huls. Watch the BIG VOICE trailer. 

Edison Language Academy's White Water screening at the Aero Theater scheduled for May 16 has been postponed until early fall 2015. Stay tuned for a new date!
