Congratulations to P.S. ARTS, winner of the Americans for the Arts 2014 Arts Education Award! On October 20, the organization was honored at an event that recognizes national leaders who are advancing the arts for their contributions and accomplishments. P.S. ARTS, funded by your donations to SMMEF, provides the arts curriculum in every SMMUSD elementary school and has already made an impression on our students - take a look here at the journal from a Grant student and letter from a Roosevelt student!  Did you know that P.S. ARTS was also honored earlier this year by the First Lady at the White House STEAM Fair for its demonstration of integrating the arts into core curriculum?
