2,955 people donated in 2013-14, 48% more donors than in 2012-13.
Of those donors 1956 were new, 502 gave last year and 497 gave in previous years.
The $3.2 million raised during our first campaign came from a variety of sources. See graph on the right for breakdown.

Two School Fundraising Events Support
SMMEF's 2014-15 $4 Million Campaign!
Thank you to Franklin Elementary School and SMASH for being the first schools to contribute to our new campaign to raise $4 million for the 2015-16 school year! SMASH hosted its third annual Arts & Letters event on February 22. The sold-out arts event raised $7,800.
Franklin organized "Dine for Our District" as part of their online auction, where bidders had an opportunity to buy certificates from hundreds of restaurants. The effort raised $5,753.

Pre-screening of Cesar Chavez - March 22
The Edison Language Academy PTA is hosting a pre-release screening of the highly-anticipated biopic, Cesar Chavez, on Saturday, March 22 at 7:30pm at Samohi's Barnum Hall. Tickets are $25. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with talent. Proceeds benefit the Spanish Language Immersion programs at Edison, JAMS and Samohi, as well as the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation.
Pier Party! - April 27
