Progress toward completion of En Gedi House

There has been a flurry of activity recently at the En Gedi House in Mandeville,

Jamaica. Since the property was purchased by HarvestCall this past summer, construction crews have been busy doing the repairs and remodeling to make this home a comfortable haven for abandoned or neglected children.

Early in 2017, Sis. Erin Davis, and her adopted daughter Neiha, plan to move into the completed facility and set up housekeeping and loving care for the children.

This is an exciting time!

Giving children agape love

Children need nurturing in their early development. While abandoned infants can have their physical needs cared for at a hospital or orphanage, they won't get all the loving interaction they need to flourish.

The Jamaican social services have already begun referring children to Sis. Erin and she has cared for them in her current small home. The move can't come soon enough as the demand for what En Gedi will provide is great.

Pray

Please pray for Sis. Erin as she cares for a steady stream of needy infants. Pray that the light of Christ can shine into the lives of these children's birth mothers.

Contribute

During this final construction push, there is a need for additional financial support to complete the capital improvements to the property. (The ongoing operational costs of En Gedi are expected to be covered by sponsoring partnerships with one or more of our congregations and HarvestCall allocations for Jamaica.)
