Prayer is urgently needed
There is a serious situation at Hospital Lumiere. A group of Haitians in the adjacent community of Bonne Fin have been disruptive, blocking key employees from getting to the hospital, threatening to inflict damage to property and lives and making demands on the hospital leadership team. These demands focus on providing free electricity for the community and the hiring policies of the hospital. While the leadership team has the support of the hospital owners (MEBSH) and the local government, the situation has not been resolved.

Our missionaries at the hospital continue to provide a place for healing and for proclaiming the message of salvation. They plead for you to intercede for them in prayer. The next few days and weeks are critical. Please pray for God's wisdom and clear direction as the leadership team meets with MEBSH and other local officials. Pray that this tense situation can be resolved and for the safety and continued work of our missionary families. Please pray also that God will provide for those making the demands and change their hearts.
