In the early 1800s, Samuel Froelich, the founder of the Apostolic Christian Church movement, and his followers planted 110 churches in at least 7 countries in a 35-year period. Later, when Benedict Weyeneth brought the faith to America, 36 churches were established in 11 states over a 35-year period.
Clearly, spreading the Word and starting churches is foundational to our heritage as Apostolic Christians.
HarvestCall's vision is that "God be glorified as despair and suffering are alleviated, hearts and minds are transformed, and churches are established and nurtured." The Church Establishment Committee (CEC) of HarvestCall is working to reignite our brotherhood's church planting zeal and provide resources to help.
The CEC is currently reviewing and praying about a proposal to the elder body for our first, new intentional church plant in the United States as a result of this work. This will likely have additional discussion at the upcoming August Conference. Information will be shared as decisions are made
