"I was a sponsored child"
Watch Pastor Mesy share his testimony in this video

Pastor Jean Claude Mesy is an important figure in the Les Cayes area. From humble beginnings, and with the help of a sponsor who paid for his high school and college education, he has been able to make significant contributions to the spiritual and educational development of his communities.
For around 25 years he has been a pastor in the MEBSH church (Mission for Evangelical Baptists of Southern Haiti, one of our Christian education partners), currently serving the Maisonneuve church south of the Les Cayes airport. He is also a high school and college professor of English and Creole. Highly respected by the missionary community, Pastor Mesy has tutored over 400 missionaries from around the world and is constantly called on for his translation services, both oral and written. Pastor Mesy is a humble man with a generous and gracious spirit. On a given Sunday morning one can observe him reviewing and praying over his notes while waiting to deliver his sermon. He and his wife live in a traditional small Haitian cottage in Simon and have four teenage daughters. He says, "Sponsorship is a great ministry to help others. When you sponsor children, you make a great difference not only in the child's community, but for the world. One of the biggest investments is to invest in people."

Many more children are hoping for sponsors
Child Sponsorship has an immediate need for dozens of sponsors for our schools in Mexico, as well as a consistent need for additional sponsors in all the countries we serve. Please consider becoming a sponsor or sponsoring more children today.
Please prayerfully consider becoming a sponsor for a child in need. Who knows . . . the child you sponsor may grow up to tutor hundreds of missionaries who will deliver the gospel message to an unsaved world, like Pastor Mesy.
