We've committed to rebuild numerous homes in two devasted communities in Arkansas. The work has begun, but we are critically short of volunteers for several of our project weeks.

 

Please prayerfully consider lending your time and talents for one or more of the following weeks:

  • Jan. 12 - 16
  • Jan. 19 - 23
  • Feb. 2 - 6

The work is primarily framing, roofing and drywall hanging. Electricians and plumbers are also needed. It is vital that we have sufficient labor in these critical weeks to reach our end goal of ten completed houses. Many families are counting on us!

  Help families get a new start     

Come and share in the rewarding work of helping bring hope to the victims of the April 2014 tornadoes. 

 

Many, especially renters and the underinsured, have not had a suitable place to live since the tornado. Our prayer is that families in despair can experience the love of Jesus, be renewed in hope, and find courage to move forward in life.

Bastrop

  • 50 Volunteers needed each week
  • Skills needed: carpenters, electricians, plumbers, drywall hangers and finishers, painters, housecleaners and kitchen helpers.
  • Participants must be at least fourteen years old to serve on a work team.
  • Dormitory type housing provided
  • All meals provided
  • Wonderful opportunity for fellowship

  Accommodations & information

Accommodations for volunteers will be at a nearby church campus.  

 

 

Dormitory type housing for both men and women will be provided along with three meals each day throughout the work week. World Relief tool trailers and vehicles will be on site for the project.  

 

We'll be holding worship services at the camp each Sunday afternoon. Please encourage one or more of your ministers to come along.

Donations to the Disaster Fund are graciously accepted. Funds are used to pay for building materials and work project expenses.


Your prayers are also appreciated. Please pray that the Lord will supply workers, that we can be good lights and examples, for safety while building and that Jesus' name can be exalted in those communities.
