Rebuilding Homes in Vilonia, Arkansas

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED JANUARY - MARCH 2015

Your Involvement

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10

On Sunday, April 27 a powerful EF4 tornado ripped a path of death and destruction through the communities of Vilonia and Mayflower, Arkansas.

The tornado remained on the ground for one hour along a forty-one mile path through Faulkner County. It was the deadliest single tornado to hit the state of Arkansas in nearly fifty years. Entire neighborhoods were reduced to debris with foundations the only remaining evidence of the home that once stood there.

In the time since the April tornadoes, crews have cleared debris from home sites in preparation for rebuilding and case workers have been working to evaluate the needs of those who had no insurance or whose homes were underinsured. These families need our help to recover.
