As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Gal 6:10

It's an exciting week for Hospital Lumiere as we gear up for the big benefit auction this Friday, November 14 at Five Points Washington. Make plans to attend this evening of food, fellowship, and charitable funding.

You'll find an abundance of items to bid on, in either the silent or live auction. Please join us if you can!

In addition to the auction, we want to make you aware of an immediate job opening for a Patient Care Manager, and share the touching story of how a little girl was finally able to begin walking after receiving help from Hospital Lumiere.

Precious First Steps
Suzy wanted to walk but complained of pain. She wanted to dress herself but could not stand up. Her developmental difficulties (due to hydrocephalis) were first noted when she was only a few months old.

Suzy is now 5 years old, and recently received help from a visiting pediatric physical therapist at Hospital Lumiere. After being fitted with a walker gait trainer and ankle foot orthotics to allow her to bear weight without pain, Suzy was able to take her precious first steps!

Therapists at the hospital will continue to work with Suzy and will provide adaptive equipment to allow her to function, go to school and pursue a normal childhood. Please keep Suzie, and all of our Hospital Lumiere patients and staff in your prayers.

And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. Matthew 18:5
