What Does It Mean to Consider the Poor?

Psalm 41 says, "Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble." But who are the poor and how do we consider them? This talk will examine what it means to be poor from a Biblical perspective and the responsibility given to believers as stewards of the ministry of reconciliation.

 Sharing God's Word in India

Over 40 years ago, the seed for our denomination's involvement with Rural Gospel & Medical Mission was planted in Rittman, OH. The opportunities to share God's Word in India still exists in so many ways despite the many challenges that continue to arise. Examples will be shared about those areas as well as new doors that have been opened in recent years.

This session will cover the nature of deaf ministry, which World Relief has supported for more than twenty years. Our brethren in Jamaica are committed to live and share the gospel and make disciples among the deaf.

Hear first-hand about the challenges of ministering in a different culture, from those who have done it and currently are doing it. Crossing cultures, whether hearing or deaf, American or Jamaican, is full of blessings and struggles. This session will review the enduring joy experienced in cross-cultural relationships and experiences. The joy of crossing cultures often provides new perspective on the grace of God and His love for the world.
