Greetings in the Lord,

Medical Team ACC3 The World Relief Medical Committee would like to create awareness about their mission...  

 

To glorify God by facilitating high-quality medical care utilizing the resources with which we are entrusted. Our endeavor is to alleviate human suffering and encourage individuals to enjoy a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.      

 

As you read through the topics below, please respond as the Lord directs you.  May the Lord add the increase to these efforts in His name.  

  Building the Health Care Provider Registry      



A little over a year ago, the World Relief Medical Committee set up the Health Care Provider Registry to build and maintain a database of all the health care providers in the Apostolic Christian Churches of America. Thank you to all who have registered and for being a part of the World Relief medical/dental community. Having this registry allows the Medical Committee to keep all health care providers up to date on the medical activities and opportunities within World Relief.  

We need your help
Currently there are 286 registrants in the Health Care Provider Registry, which is a great initial response. But we feel there are more medical professionals within our congregations who have not submitted their information. 

If you are willing, would you personally contact those medical or dental professionals in your congregation, and those that you know from other Apostolic Christian congregations, and encourage them to submit their information to the Health Care Providers Registry.   

Registration is simple 
Have them go to the World Relief website, click on the Health Care Provider Registry link on the home page, fill out a short questionnaire and submit their information.  In doing this, you will help to fulfill the purpose of the Medical Committee to further the Lord's work.

  Medical Team Needed ~ Palm Grove Mission, Haiti      

We have an opportunity for a medical team to go to Palm Grove Mission in Haiti. This new project has been approved by the Caribbean Committee. There is a history of work teams to this location.

Haiti The Medical Committee needs someone who is willing to organize a team and be the team leader.  No date has been set for this team as of yet.  If you have had previous experience on other medical mission trips and would be interested in this new project, please contact the Medical Committee at medical@acwr.org.

  Medical Team Needed ~ San Marcos, Guatemala          

   

There is another opportunity for a medical team to go to San Marcos, Guatemala. This new project has been approved by the Mexico Committee. The Child Sponsorship Committee supports one of the schools in this location and has had evaluation and work teams travel there.  

 

The Medical Committee needs someone who is willing to organize a team and be the team leader. No date has been set for this team yet. If you have had previous experience  and would be interested in this new project, please contact the Medical Committee at medical@acwr.org.
