Your Involvement

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10

Thank you!

The outpouring of love and support shown toward the Washington community has been beyond words. Volunteers have not only given of themselves, but have provided equipment, food and most of all, prayers for those who suffered loss, as well as for those directing the recovery effort. Everyone in this community has been touched in some way by these selfless actions given in the name of Christ. To God be the Glory!

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  Ephesians 2:10

Following are the plans for the next four days:

Sunday 11/24
Although the city is open to volunteers, our Apostolic Christian work teams are standing down on Sunday (attending worship services).

Monday 11/25
The city is on lockdown to volunteers; city services plan to clear debris piled at curbs and on right of way.
NO volunteers are needed since city is not open to volunteer crews.

Tuesday 11/26
The city is potentially going to still be locked down to volunteers on Tuesday.  We will plan to communicate as soon as we hear the status.

Wednesday 11/27
Work is expected to resume but smaller work teams are desired. Please send your work team information to:
Les Schambach
  • Number in team
  • Date of service
  • Equipment you will bring
Volunteers should report to the Washington Apostolic Christian Church at 8:00 - 10:00 AM.
432 E Cruger Road

Thursday 11/28
