ISSUE 34
Greetings!
Know that when you receive this edition of our newsletter, Muskegon River steelhead fly fishing is really starting to pop.  The bulk of the spring run fish is arriving in increasing numbers daily and beginning to stage below spawning areas.  River temperature is 38 degrees and creeping steadily toward that magic 42 degree number that prompts fishy love.  With cloud cover and showers forecast throughout the week, steelhead will be moving, competing, and feeding throughout the day so we should be in for quite a show.

So, too, with wildlife along the river.  Birds singing their hearts out to claim territory and attract ladies fair, stone flies popping and fluttering as they heed nature's call, and green shoots cropping up across the forest floor-it's spring, and all of God's creation, including us, are happy and blessed.  Best of all, it's real-no man-made invention, no computer animated virtual reality-fly fish the river, and you are a player in the flow of life-real life.  Here's hoping that this spring you can find your way to connect with it all.
