Take your garden to a new level of productivity by mastering garden wines.

DeNeice Guest and Nan Chase, co-authors of the new book Drink the Harvest, introduce principles of fermentation and then guide participants through all the techniques used to craft garden wines, including proper harvesting and preparation, equipment and sanitation, managing the "must," racking and bottling, labeling, and troubleshooting.

Each participant receives a complete winemaking kit for starting garden wines.

The Collective Biodiesel Conference is geared toward active and open collaboration among participants, including home brewers, grease collectors, multi-million gallon producers, and everyone in between.

This conference is designed to provide sufficient detail for participants to put what they learn, both technical and logistical, directly into action. In addition to open forums and lectures, the conference also features case studies from active Biodiesel co-ops and companies.

If you are wondering about whether or not attending will be worth your while, we suggest you go ahead and jump...

Fund 4 Democratic Communities has offered a $5000 matching grant to support this year'sCollective Biodiesel Conference.

The Collective Biodiesel Conference has long been a labor of love. It's all-volunteer board, and grassroots supporters and organizers have cobbled thisconference together year in and year out. This year the CBC has been awarded a generous grant from the Funds4Democratic Communities. In order to claim the grant we need 50 individuals to contribute 100.00 each.

That's easy to do:

The money raised through this grant will help provide scholarships to the conference, keep conference fees low, and provide a fantastic conference experience for attendees.  If you can chip in, we would appreciate it.  Thanks.
