Dear Abundant Ones,
We are thrilled to start out 2014 with a strong lineup of events and bringing community together. Cafeteria Man is here on Monday...a few seats left, if you'd like to register to hear this important talk about school nutrition covered with our local celebrity panel - RSVP here and save your seat!We always love Frank Stasio (see below) and he is interviewing Albert, Liane, Michiel and Lyle about global and local perspectives around climate change...and yes, we are having some extreme weather events lately! This will happen at our Amuse Bouche event at the Fearrington Barn the night before the Farming Adaptation Conference! Our 2nd Farming Adaptation conference is designed for farmers, researchers and also for the general public...we want to get lots of voices out on a fairly new subject; adaptation. The good news is that we humans adapt well....we just need a conducive forum to make this happen and to learn from others that are trailblazing the way through on many different topics. As always, thanks for your ongoing support. icy ponds and sparkly fields,
