Dear Abundant Ones,

We're a lively bunch with a serious mission!

About 4 years ago, we held Mark Barroso's documentary premiere about the wonderful Paperhand Puppets and we had a wildly great time walking the green carpet, Chatham County style.
It's time to do it again and we want YOU, our celebrities to come support Linda Booker and Blaire Johnson in their first showing of the completed 55 minute movie about industrial hemp.
Dress festively of course, bring a blanket or chair and come to Lorax Lane, Pittsboro this Friday @ 7.00pm!

Workshops @ Pickards Mountain
Join us with beloved local naturalist Gary Phillips as we explore the fields, meadows, forests, and lakesides to discover the living wonders of our incredibly diverse bioregion.
Vitality, Energy, Life giving, Strength. All of these are words used to describe adaptogenic herbs and their effects on the body and spirit. Learn how you can incorporate them into your everyday life. We will also discuss herbs for stress reduction and explore other methods for maintaining a balanced lifestyle with Ricky Bratz. Cooking the Garden's Bounty, June 22, 9am-noon: We begin in the garden, harvesting what is ready. We visit the shiitake logs and the chicken coop, gathering mushrooms and eggs. As our basket fills, we see our menu taking shape. |
