It really is your last chance for awhile to sign up for Aquaponics...we don't know when the next one will be and we are welcoming past attendees and new registrants as we have made room in our warehouse to project and fit up to 50 folks.  Intro will be covered as well as a deeper level of knowledge.

Tim Keim held a fantastic fungi workshop this past Sunday and the next one is in Burlington, Sunday...still have a few slots open.  Fungi 101 : learn all about GROWING YOUR OWN

Kim Calhoun is putting on wild edibles wonder walk, Tuesday, May 14th...if you've never had weed pesto, you haven't lived....

Pickards Mountain has: 7 day cobb extensive workshop in the works....April 28-May 4.  Also, a cobb oven building may 11 & 12 and living ecology walk may 18th....see more below.

We want to thank all the volunteers that helped out for the Briar Chapel 5K along with Briar Chapel and our Sponsors...really crucial in keeping our programs going.  We are so grateful.

In an age of rising populations and diminishing oil reserves, how are we going to feed ourselves? Aquaponics, a self contained, sustainable system for growing fish and veggies is one answer! These backyard food systems are one easy way to grow some of your own food.

Join Mike Yablonski and Rachel Tinker-Kulberg for an introduction into the world of aquaponics. During this hands-on workshop, Mike and Rachel will show you how to build your own backyard system. Just add plants, fish and water and you will be taking another step down the path to self reliance!
