We had a blast at the 5th Annual Pittsboro Pepper Festival and hope you did too! Thanks for coming out en masse and supporting the sustainable small farmers, the creative chefs, brewers and food artisans, and celebrating the flavor of all the beautiful PEPPERS of the Piedmont with us!

Want to learn to make medicinal alcoholic beverages? Or just really delicious beer? We have a Beer-brewing Workshop and a Mead-making Workshop coming up fast (this weekend)! Register to reserve your spot before they fill up!

*Live Traditional Karen folk music and dancing
 
* Traditional Karen appetizers with food sourced directly from the farm, hot roselle tea, hot cider, & other libations
 
* Short presentation on Burma, the refugee experience & Karen culture presented by Karen youth at in the farm  

*Photography & essays from this summers Karen youth photovoice project and UNC Journalism student Vanessa Patchett's photo essay project documenting the project and the bounty of the 2012 farm season
