Due to the impending storm this evening, December 11, and tomorrow, December 12, all schools in the Castro Valley Unified School District will be closed on Thursday, December 12, as a precautionary safety measure.  This closure is consistent with the school districts in our immediate area and throughout Alameda County and the Bay Area.

Updated information will be posted on the district website on Thursday, December 11 or on the district voicemail at 510.537.3000.  Autodialer messages will be used as necessary.

A decision whether to cancel the school board meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 11, will be made on Thursday and communicate through Constant Contact, the district website and the voicemail.
