At its meeting on June 26, 2014, the Board of Education adopted a resolution calling for the election of two trustees in the November 4, 2014, election.  The terms of office for Board President Janice Friesen and Trustee Gary Howard expires in December 2014. 

The filing period for candidates for the Castro Valley Board of Education is July 14 to August 8, 2014.  Additional information regarding the filing process and election is available from the Alameda County Registrar of Voters.
