Joe Lillie Now Leads The BIZPHYX Gulf Coast Office, Americas BPC Small Business Workshop

Joe Lillie, an IEEE supplier audit expert is now leading the BIZPHYX Gulf Coast office, based in Lafayette, Louisiana.  He has over 35 years of engineering, telecommunications and quality management experience and has an extensive engineering background that includes dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications.  Joe is highly skilled in multiple quality standards such as ISO 9001 and TL 9000.

He is a career member of IEEE, having served since 2009 as the Director of the IEEE Foundation.  Joe has also served as the organization's Vice President, Treasurer and member of the IEEE International Board of Directors.  Joe has been with us for some time and actually started out as one of our clients.  He came on board as a consultant working with one our major transportation clients.  Please read our news release and visit his bio page on the BIZPHYX website to learn more about his background.  Joe does an outstanding job of managing our BNSF supplier quality audit program!

Americas BPC Small Business Workshop Update           

The Small Business Workshop at the recent QuEST Forum Americas Best Practices Conference in September, was the best attended of any Small Business event to date.  The roundtable and panel discussions were very successful and Steve Pickett, President of Telmar Networks, a Jabil Company, did an incredible job as the keynote speaker at the Small Business Breakfast.
Steve is Vice-Chair of QuEST Forum and the 2014 Chair.
 
Small Business membership in QuEST Forum continues to grow and that's a testimony to the hard work of the corporate volunteers, mentors and the Small Business Leadership Group, which is chaired by BIZPHYX CEO, Sue Clancy.

The October TL 9000 R5.0 Internal Audit Course (VILT), being facilitated by Senior Consultant, Gale Leonard is SOLD OUT.  It's truly amazing how many international clients are taking advantage of our TL 9000 "virtual" courses.  This sold out course will have students from countries such as Poland and even Mexico!

The TL 9000 Sanctioned (VILT) Auditing Course is still open for registration.  This 3-day course being offered on October 23-25 is also a "virtual" course and no travel is required.  This course provides information and guidance to auditors in order to verify the implementation and evaluate the effectiveness of TL 9000 requirements and measurements.  It is designed for TL 9000 CB Auditors (third party), internal auditors, management representatives, quality managers and individuals who are responsible for verifying and maintaining the TL 9000 certification for an organization
