A great day is planned for Saturday, May 18, 2013 by the Central/Western Association Women's Fellowship officers and ladies from Immanuel UCC.
We hope women from each church will join us, as the day
promises to be a good one. Dress is casual or dressy whichever you like; jeans and slacks are as welcome as dresses, wear an outrageous Easter Bonnet or Easter Hat.

The Tulsa Interfaith Alliance will be hosting Jay Bakker (son of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker) for their Annual Meeting Dinner and Keynote Address on Thursday, May 16 at All Souls Unitarian Church, 2952 S Peoria Ave, Tulsa. The dinner starts at 5:00pm ($25/adult, $10/child--reservations required), and the keynote (FREE) starts at 7:00pm.
Jay will be talking about his latest book, "Faith, Doubt and Other Lines I've Crossed: Walking With the Unknown God." The book provides insight into Jay's journey from the vengeful, limited God of his childhood into a radically inclusive faith based on grace and love.

Life-enriching Relationships in the Congregation
Cost: $75*
We are created in and for relationships. Life-enriching relationships, whether with intimate partners, family, friends, colleagues or parishioners, require healthy boundaries. This workshop explores the meaning and practice of healthy boundaries in the context of ministry. It will also identify the signs, dangers, and preventions of boundary violations including those in today's social media. The workshop begins with an assumption that the complexity of relational dynamics in the congregation is one of its greatest possibilities and its greatest challenges for ministry.
Donna Rose-Heim is an ordained Disciple minister, currently serving as a Transitional Interim Minister. Prior to interim ministry, Donna served as North West Area Co-Pastor with her husband Bill for 9 1/2 years. She serves as lead instructor for the Mid-America Region in providing "Boundary Training" for clergy. She was trained by Dr. Marie Fortune and Dr. Aleese Moore-Orbih of the Faith Trust Institute. She is author of "Dream Walking", which she published in 2007, and "Dream Walking for Kids" published in 2011. She has led numerous retreats about the spiritual life.
