Confirmation 2013

We have new awakenings at camp as we prepare our youth for confirmation in 2013. In addition to, or in lieu of any program you may be presenting to your youth, we also have a very beneficial offering through camp. Our goal is to build strong youth as individuals, as leaders and as followers of Christ. During either of these weekend retreats, our youth will grow together in service and in friendship to form our future. We will impress upon our youth the importance of positive play, self assessment, self care and Christ's Word.

This is open to all denominations, pastors, youth leaders and those who work with youth.

It is our hope that you see the importance of this program as much as we do, and that you will begin presenting this to your congregations as early as tomorrow through Confirmation Sunday.

OCC's Annual Dinner

2012 Annual Dinner

Special Speaker

Mr. Kirk Smalley of

"Stand for the Silent"

Join us on November 8!

The Oklahoma Conference of Churches is saddened by the amount of bullying which occurs at schools and other places, sometimes with deadly consequences. We believe that all pastors, Christian educators, church members, and parents need to be even more aware of the problem and learn how to prevent "bullycides."

We have invited Kirk Smalley to be the special speaker at the OCC Annual Dinner to help us begin to address this issue. Kirk's eleven-year-old son, Ty, committed suicide in 2010 as the result of bullying.

Please join us at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening,

November 8, 2012 (reception at 5:30 p.m.) at

The Petroleum Club in Oklahoma City for this important dinner and program.

To register and pay ($30 per person) please go to  http://www.okchurches.org/upcoming-events.
