Reporting Animal Neglect - Where, When and How

Many veterinarians will receive calls from concerned citizens about animals at abandoned properties or other places that are lacking for basic care. Occasionally there may be calls about downright cruelty as well. Fortunately most cases concerning animal welfare are about neglect rather than cruelty. When you see an animal needing... Ranger Wants your Extra Crafting Supplies

Hello peoples! It's me Ranger! I heard the girls talking about their crafting event in December. It's pretty cool. You can make your kitty or doggie a special gift! How awesome is that! I love toys, I have lots of them. I know your kitty and doggie would love to have a new toy. You can come and make one or two or three or four or more. It's free too!

I know lots of peoples will come and we need lots of crafty stuff. So, I am asking you, from the bottom of my little kitty heart, to donate any extra crafty stuff you have cluttering your house. The girls say they would take just about anything - fleece, stuffing, fabric, stitch witchery, thread, feathers, batting, etc. You can bring your crafty stuff to me. I live at the clinic (in case you didn't know). I am available on Monday and Friday from 8 am - 7 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am - 5 pm and Saturday from 8 am - 3 pm.

Ranger's Food Drive

We collected 191 pounds of food for SAM Food Pantry. Thanks so much to everyone who brought in food. We had 131 pounds of food dropped off last year. Thanks for helping us get more this year!

If you would like to make a donation to SAM Food Pantry and you didn't get a chance to bring it to the clinic, drop it off at SAM Food Pantry. They are located inside the United Methodist Church in Tuscola. Call ahead to make sure someone is available to take your donation. Their phone number is 253-4232.
