SERVE MERGE WHERE GIFTS MEET NEEDS
God has uniquely created each one of us with GIFTS and talents designed to honor him and bless others. The world around us is filled with NEEDS of all kinds - spiritual, financial, relational and more. During the month of July, we are going to connect GIFTS with NEEDS. We are asking every Valley Rancher to commit to serve inside and/or outside the church in the coming year as a grateful response to the grace we have received from Christ. For more information, check out vrbc.net/servemerge.

SUNDAYS IN JULY - 9:00 AM ABF/SBF/CBF HOUR
"CELEBRATING COMMUNITY"
For the 9:00 am hour on Sundays in the month of July we will recognize and celebrate the community that God has called us to as a church family. For those four Sundays, we will share breakfast as a church family (adults, students and children will be together) and plan to get better acquainted with, or perhaps meet people from the church that live in our neighborhood. We will teach from the book The Art of Neighboring by Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon and each week will build on topics from "loving God and loving others" to "finding ways to engage our neighbors." We want to put into practice Jesus' command for us to love our neighbors providing practical ways to engage those geographically closest to us. More details to follow. Contact Jim Mustain at jmustain@vrbc.net with questions.

BENEVOLENCE GIFT UPDATE
THANK YOU!
VRBC was the recipient of a $5,600 check for benevolence needs within the City of Coppell. The check was a gift from the proceeds of a fundraising event known as the Beast Feast sponsored by Frost Bank - Coppell and the law firm of Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard. The event issued checks to five Coppell community churches. VRBC is grateful for the generosity of the Coppell community and the two sponsoring businesses.
