A Message from our Executive Director

In just a couple of weeks, we will welcome hundreds of Little Bit supporters to the Reins of Life Auction. They will help celebrate the great strides our riders and
patients have made over the last year and contribute their valuable support to fund lessons and treatments for the year ahead.

This year, we are adding something new - a

pre-auction event for Future Strides Club Members - to recognize and thank individuals and foundations who have contributed $1,000 or more to ensure our sustainability.

Our auction is always a wonderful event that brings the community together with one common goal - to fund critical resources for Little Bit patients and riders. Once again, auction chair Luann Berman has led an army of dedicated volunteers in procuring items, creating the mood and working the event. Board members, and many of you, are still working tirelessly to procure 'must-have' auction items and to fill the tables.

There is still time to join us for the Reins of Life Auction on Saturday, April 12 - come as a donor or a volunteer. And if you are a Future Strides Club Member, please join us for the pre-auction event. For more information or to sign up, contact Jenny Metz at 425-882-1554 or via email.

The Reins of Life Auction is a celebration - filled with good food, good friends and the opportunity to support Little Bit riders and patients. I hope to see you there.

Auction Video

Huge thanks to our riders, patients, and volunteers who spent a (rainy) Saturday with us making this year's auction video! Many thanks also to Kyle Seago and Mark Malijan and their crew for braving the weather to produce this year's video - we can't wait to share it with you! Click here to watch last year's video, Amazing Gracie.

New Faces

Thanks to the generous support of Geoff and Cindy Swanson and The Walsh Family Foundation, we have another trial horse to introduce to you! Trial horses spend 30 days at Little Bit to see if they're ready to join our program and become four-legged therapists.

Star is a 20-year-old English Riding Pony who has already won over our community with her awesome attitude and adorable features (she has the tiniest hooves in the barn!) With a background as a lesson horse, Star is patient, kind, and seems like a great fit for our herd. She would be a fantastic horse for our youngest and smallest riders and patients - fingers crossed that she's ready to be a four-legged therapist!
