Countdown to The Print Show
D&K will be exhibiting at The Print Show taking place 13-15 October 2015 at NEC Birmingham.  Pre-registration has already started so click HERE to register.

The Print Show is a forward looking annual exhibition designed to provide the key tools that everyone from the smallest high-street print shop to the biggest conglomerate need to remain competitive without forgetting the roots of our historic industry.

The Print Show will host an educational seminar programme on everything from sales training to green print practices, in addition to a series of 'Diversification Zones' and hands-on demonstrations and tutorials on traditional print skills and techniques on historic equipment.

Being held at the UK's top exhibition venue - Birmingham's NEC - the event will span the industry entire technology spectrum from the smallest consumables and media suppliers to the largest players in the supply of offset litho and digital print equipment.

In addition the NEC is about to become an exciting 24/7 destination with the opening of Resorts World Birmingham in spring 2015, the UK's first integrated destination leisure and entertainment complex.

Film storage advice
filmrolls
All films should be stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and in the box they were shipped in, if possible. Also, consider using and first-in, first-out stock rotation system. Nylon should always be stored in the silver wrapper it came in - this helps maintain its inherent non-curl properties.

Exposure of film to chemicals - polypropylene has good resistance to chemicals - polyester and nylon do not. If these films have to be exposed to such an environment, it would be best for polyester and nylon to be situated as far from the chemical source as possible. The polypropylene may be stored closer to the chemical source with the proper bagging of any partial rolls.

Inprint - Industrial Print Show
D&K will be exhibiting at the show being held in Munich 10 - 12 November.

InPrint is the exhibition for industrial print technology. The strategic event is the only show exclusively designed for this emerging and highly promising sector of the print industry - a key marketplace for state of the art functional and decorative printing in industrial production, including speciality, screen, digital, inkjet and 3D technologies.
