On Stand L16 D&K will exhibit the Atlas wide format laminator which will be linked to a newly developed wide format trimmer producing sheets from the laminated web exiting the laminator.

 

 

The Atlas trimmer will be shown at 165cms width to match the laminator is controlled by reading the leading and trailing edge of each sheet.

  

Now, more than ever, printers are looking at ways of cutting costs, increasing profitability and gaining additional business over their competitors.  One way this can be achieved, with a relatively small outlay, is to bring certain aspects of finishing in-house.  

 

 

Having a Laminator in house can give more control in meeting tight deadlines, giving an edge over the competition and adding the potential for additional profit.   So making its debut at the show will be the D&K Europa B2 fully automated laminator.   Compact and easy to use the Europa is designed with today's print-on-demand market.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

Details of D & K's extensive range of hot and cold mounting and laminating films - together with our thermal lamination products - will also be available.

 

As of 1st April 2015 we will be applying a small increase in the hourly rate for an engineer/service visit in UK mainland.   The new rate will be £45 per hour for travel and labour.

 

 

 

We will continue to provide a comprehensive machine back up with fully trained staff and spare parts facility.

 

 

 

D&K Group recently exhibited at the West Coast Art & Frame Expo which is the largest trade show in the art and framing industry in the USA.

 

The event showcased new vendor products and services including D&K's EXP 42+ Roller Press Mounter/Laminator for pressure sensitive (cold) processing and mounting to optically clear substrates including acrylic. 

D&K Distributor in Benilux, Printemat, will be showing the Europa PB for the first time at Grafische Vakbeurs next month.

Being demonstrated on Stand L220 the Europa PB has two laminating stations, each with chrome laminating roller and rubber nip roller to give the same result on each side of the sheet - ideal for Photobook applications.   It will be shown in line with a D&K Stacker.

 

 

Capable of running speeds of up to 20m/minute both single and double sided. 

 

 

 

For increased flexibility it can be supplied for standard B2 size or with feeder lengths of 880mm, 950mm or 1050mm. 

 

Also on display will be the standard Europa B2 fully automated laminator.
