The new portrait fed B2 Jupiter was launched in the latter part of 2006. Capable of running at up to 20m/minute it would laminate almost 1,700 B2 sheets per hour, double the speed of the earlier Pegasus but offering a substantially smaller footprint than the earlier System 27.

Over the next 3 years the Jupiter would undergo a number of changes; firstly the design became enclosed and the speed moved to 25m/minute to give around 2,100 B2 sheets per hour. Later a 30m/minute version was added followed by the double-sided Jupiter DS model to round out the range.

2 years later the 30m/minute Jupiter 30 became the 35m/minute Jupiter 35 as it is now and a landscape version allows B2 sheets to be run either portrait or landscape to produce over 4,100 B2 sheets per hour; a 240% productivity increase on the first model.

Today, the landscape Jupiter 35L boasts a cantilevered air shaft mandrel for faster film roll changes and for longer runs, pallet feeding and a delivery jogger are supplied as standard although this highly productive laminator can be fitted with a stacker for really long runs.
