We are expecting a very challenging time next year, but with encouraging signs in some countries of economic recovery we are hoping that we will see some better results.  

The print industry, which we serve in many of its various forms, is still undergoing a technological transformation during these troubled times, and this presents us with opportunities

as well as problems.

The exhibition world is seeing this also, with trade shows focusing on individual markets and specific applications surviving and flourishing and more general and traditional shows suffering.

One of these is IPEX - which takes place (in London not Birmingham!) next year in March 2014. It will be a smaller show than for many years, but the organisers claim it will be more relevant than ever to our changing markets. We ourselves, seeing the trend in the market some time ago, booked our smallest IPEX stand ever to ensure that whatever we displayed would be 100% relevant and we are planning equipment developments to take us forward in the digital market and capitalise on the huge success of the Europa in particular.

We will provide more details in coming months about product developments, which will include innovative materials for the wide format/business graphics market.

D&K will be again be exhibiting at the Sign & Digital exhibition which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham - 29th, 30th April & 1st May 2014.

Sign & Digital UK is the annual trade show for sign making, display solutions and digital printing.  Showcasing the latest innovative products, technologies and services, the exhibition attracts the world's top manufacturers and suppliers from across the sign, display and graphics and print industry. 

The 2013 exhibition attracted 5,649 unique visitors and was the platform for many new product launches and demos.
