The Atlas range is available in a number of options.
'C' - Cold laminator
This entry level range cold laminator is ideal for sign making applications and other applications using pressure sensitive films. It is available in widths of 108cms, 140cms & 160cms.
The basic unit comprises a top unwind, top rewind and bottom unwind and roller aperture up to 5cms with variable speeds up to 3.5M/min. Common There is an LED colour-coded pressure indicator and push-button controls for forward/reverse and start/stop.
'HA' - Hot Top Roller (Heat assist)
These units are available at 165 and 210 cms. and allow top roller heating up to 60º C for those materials and applications where the adhesive needs to be helped to flow.to produce the best result. All hot top roller units offer additional roll storage, a programmable control board for heat, pressure and speed adjustment (up to 6M/min) and safety features such as laser eye protection at the nip and 2 emergency stops.
Work can be rewound onto a roll if desired, and the pivoting feed tray, with safety interlock, allows speedy roll changing.
'HT' - Hot Top Roller (Up to ) 140º C
The 'HT' model, at 165 cms. only, has the facility to heat the top roller to 140º C., so that heat activated laminates can be used on one side.
MF' - Multi-function (Twin heated rollers)
The 'MF' model comprises all the features of the 'HA' and 'HT' models but the independent infra-red heating of both top and bottom rollers to 140º C enables the use of hot and cold materials - simultaneously, if desired, along with all gauges of encapsulating film. The 5cm wide aperture means that most popular rigid substrates can be used. The 'MF' model is available in 165cm width only.
