SuperStick film range
SuperStick
SuperStick™ OPP Gloss & Matt - OPP Base film - SuperStick™ Resin.

 

Available in 30 micron and 38/42 micron. Easily folded for menus and covers etc. Specifically formulated to adhere to digitally printed media. A clearer resin that further enhances the print.

 

SuperStick™ Nylon BXT Gloss & Matt - Nylon Base Film - SuperStick™ Resin.

 

Nylon's hygroscopic nature (it absorbs moisture) helps maintain a flat sheet, especially with digital output laminated on one side only. Nylon is primarily used in climates with high humidity levels. Nylon is a more stable base film than is OPP and will therefore give slightly better adhesion characteristics than OPP but it is more expensive and harder to separate.

 

SuperStick™ Nylon BXT, a 30 micron Gloss laminating film. BXT is the burstable version of this product suitable for use on laminators with automatic sheet separation.

 

SuperStick™ Nylon Standard, a 38/42 micron Gloss laminating film. This version is not suitable for use on laminators with burster sheet separation, only flying knife. 

 

SuperStick™ Polyester Gloss - Polyester Base Film-   SuperStick™ Resin    

 

Available in 75, 125, 175 and 250 micron thicknesses. Specifically formulated to adhere to digitally printed media. A clearer resin that further enhances the print.

 

OPP Linen - OPP Base Film - SuperStick™ Resin

 

75 micron. OPP Linen has been part of the D&K range for some time and now benefits from the application of SuperStick™ resin for digital output. This thermal film is embossed with a decorative finish that is normally referred to as "Linen" or even "Fine Linen.   

 

OPP 2/3 - OPP Base Film - Low melt SuperStick™ Resin with UV inhibitor

  

A 125 micron, foldable, high gloss alternative to polyester for encapsulating in areas where there is considerable exposure to sunlight.

  

We have a variation on SuperStick™ specifically developed to cope with problems caused by HP Indigo electro ink.

 

PIP - Polyester Base Film - IP Resin

 

 Available for a number of applications - from thin polyester for lamination of fridge magnets, button badges etc - to 250 micron gloss and writeable matt for the card industry.

Jupiter range of B2 laminators
Jupiter DS

The first Jupiter installation took place in the UK at the beginning of 2007; at that time the Jupiter was a 20m/minute single-sided model offering a European style burster separator and a more compact footprint than could be achieved with the flying knife separator of the System 27.

 

Since that time the Jupiter model has developed into a range of B2 laminators. Firstly it was upgraded to run at 25m/minute and then a higher speed model was added that now offers speeds of up to 35m/minute. In 2009 the Jupiter DS model, capable of running either 1 or 2-sides in one pass, was introduced.

 

If you have an older D&K laminator why not talk to us about part exchanging it for a new Jupiter range laminator.
