Evolution of the Jupiter range

The first Jupiter installation took place in the UK at the beginning of 2007; at that time the Jupiter was a 20m/minute single-sided model offering a European style burster separator and a more compact footprint than could be achieved with the flying knife separator of the System 27.
Since that time the Jupiter model has developed into a range of B2 laminators. Firstly it was upgraded to run at 25m/minute and then a higher speed model was added that now offers speeds of up to 35m/minute. In 2009 the Jupiter DS model, capable of running either 1 or 2-sides in one pass, was introduced.
For increased productivity the Jupiter range can also be retro fitted with the Stacker delivery system and pre-loader.

Film storage
|
All films should be stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and in the box they were shipped in, if possible. Also, consider using and first-in, first-out stock rotation system. Nylon should always be stored in the silver wrapper it came in - this helps maintain its inherent non-curl properties.
Exposure of film to chemicals - polypropylene has good resistance to chemicals - polyester and nylon do not. If these films have to be exposed to such an environment, it would be best for polyester and nylon to be situated as far from the chemical source as possible. The polypropylene may be stored closer to the chemical source with the proper bagging of any partial rolls.

Christmas Deliveries

With only 54 days remaining until the Christmas holidays we would ask all our Export customers to place your orders by the end of November, at the very latest, to ensure that we can arrange delivery before the shipping companies shutdown for the holidays. Grafische Vakbeurs 2013

Increase your productivity

Earlier this year D&K introduced a range of Stacker delivery systems to improve machine productivity.
The Stacker is available for the Polaris, Triton, Proteus and the Jupiter range and can be retro fitted to your existing machine.
The stacker system was shown working with the Jupiter DS and Proteus at Drupa. It has been well received by both customers and prospective clients.
