Pressing the claims of Christ
Easter Sunday Mole

The beginning of May, I again served, as one of three judges, for The Taste of Haiti community festival in Miami. Professional Haitian American chefs competed in a cook off at the open-air event; the Haitian government and Air France flew us in from Port au Prince. Our friend and La Bonne Nouvelle fan, recently promoted to Consul General at the Miami Haitian Consulate, told me, "I am going to use you a lot more now".

Fans stopped by the La Bonne Nouvelle booth to shake our hand, get photos with us and express their gratitude for the Creole Christian TV show that ministers the gospel to Haitians everywhere.

The owner of Radio Caraibe and Tele Caraibe, a popular Port au Prince station, asked, "Why don't you give me all your shows to air in Haiti? And please do a live radio interview for Haiti and Miami with us on Radio Caraibe?" During the radio interview, the announcer said, "On behalf of the Haitian people, I want to thank you for the positive changes that you and La Bonne Nouvelle have effected in Haiti." Then, the popular Voice of America asked me to do a radio interview in Creole that they rebroadcast to radio stations throughout Haiti.

More shows

In addition to this new TV station and two radio interviews, I completed two La Bonne Nouvelle shows. Kenscoff and Mole St. Nicholas now airing on stations throughout Haiti, the Caribbean and East Coast of the US. Youtube views topped two million last month and subscribers are near 3,000. This from a viewer in Brooklyn:

Believe me, if I was able to make it to Miami this weekend, I would definitely be there. It would be my pleasure to meet you and "Frere Joel" to thank you both for your obedience to God by ministering to the people of Haiti.

My prayer is for God to continually bless you with perfect peace. I'm especially thankful that He allowed me to see the fruits of my prayer. I've been praying for Haiti for quite some time and now (and I still do) I see how He has answered these prayers by bringing you guys out there - even before I was born and began to pray.

Again, thank you for your wonderful work. I still ask my Father to bless you beyond measures, with His peace, His love and His Joy despite the difficulties you experience.
