He will cause the rain to come down for you-
The former rain, and the latter rain in

the first month. Joel 2:23

January 2013

Tiga House Dear friend,

Last year our ministry work exceeded expectations as we filmed and produced more Creole Christian TV shows with less help and less money than we thought possible! This month our first scheduled shoot will be in the mountain town of La Vallee Jacmel. The tangerine harvest is the focus of one show and then we go on to La Bassin Bleu a bright blue waterfall town and film another show.

Several days a week Yvonne walks over the mountain behind our house, recently she noticed a seemingly abandoned stone structure. Our daughter in law Erin shot our Christmas photos on the front porch of that old house! A week later as Yvonne walked by the road leading to the vacant home she came upon Haitian artists. They told her there would be an exhibition at the house that afternoon. So Yvonne and Erin attended.

After a quick perusal of the exhibition they headed for the car disappointed that the artwork was voodoo. As Yvonne passed through the yard, a woman recognized her and said, "Oh, I can't believe it is you. Where is Frere Joel? I am a voodooist but I watch La Bonne Nouvelle. I am his biggest fan!" She was the owner of the house and daughter of the famed artist whose work was featured there!

Two weeks ago, a well-known Haitian millionaire came to my table at a local restaurant and said, "I watch your show. I love you! Thank you." As I was leaving the restaurant, a line of people waited to shake my hand and thank me for our Creole Christian TV show La Bonne Nouvelle!

The show features the beauty of Haiti and her people. We travel to a different village in each of our 75 shows and include an interview about something good like a reforestation or development project. Then I give a bible study that applies to some aspect of the region or the interview; finally ending the show with a food peculiar to the area.

La Bonne Nouvelle is in Creole because it is a ministry to the Haitians! We are not exploiting the poverty but featuring what is never shown on US media, the beauty of this mountainous island nation. The Haitians love it, including drug dealers, voodooist, politicians, young, old, rich and poor. We speak the word of God to many who will never grace the doors of a church but will pray with us in their homes!

Please stand with us financially this month and every month of 2013 as Yvonne and I go where no missionary evangelist has ever gone before; not just into the remote regions of Haiti but also into the homes of the unreached. Pray for us as we snatch their souls from the gates of hell and present them to the King of kings for eternity. Please use our secure donation button or write to us today.
