PCC's 20 Year Anniversary
Making SC more bike friendly since 1995.
This year the PCC is celebrating our 20 year anniversary since a small group of volunteers decided to work together to make our state better for cyclists.

Do you have any memories about the PCC to share? Why you got involved? Impact the PCC's advocacy has had on your life? We would love to hear from you! Email your stories to Amy or call us.

Columbia Master Plan Unveiled

The Columbia Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan was unveiled on Thursday, January 22. Great things are in the works in this growing urban area, with a palpable, rising demand for walking and biking. Great work City of Columbia! Next step is convincing SCDOT that this City means business.

If your City is having challenges making safety improvements on state owned roads, based on what's in your Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan, please email Amy with your examples.

The draft master plan is available online.

During the 2013-14 academic year, 615 students participated in the program and gave reasons such as "riding bikes is enjoyable and stress relieving" and "bikes are an easy and convenient way to get around campus.
