With the National Flood Insurance Program set to expire on Sept. 30, 2017, unless Congress acts, NAR has issued a news release underscoring the importance of the program and warning that its expiration would harm current policyholders and threaten tens of thousands of real estate transactions.  News Release.

America needs the National Flood Insurance Program, which:

Attorney Review Case Victory by

New Jersey Realtors®

Earlier this week, New Jersey Realtors® was notified that the Supreme Court adopted our position on updating the methods of sending a notice of disapproval to real estate brokers.

Moving forward, the attorney review provision will be modified to exclude the use of telegrams,  and adding emails, faxes, and overnight delivery as appropriate methods to send a notice of disapproval to brokers. We will be updating the Contract of Sale and Residential Lease to reflect the new language. Members will

be notified of the published changes.
