Thank You For Your Support

Vicki and I are so grateful for the kind and thoughtful notes, cards, emails and texts we received after the passing of Vicki's mother (my grandmother) in January. Thank you for comforting us during this difficult time. Our dance family is an extension of our personal family and your support means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Patty Barth was a remarkable woman and an advocate for the performing arts. Patty loved to attend our annual student productions. She could often be found in the lobby selling raffle tickets or handing out bouquets. She regularly attended our performances at the Fishers Festival and she was an annual supporter of our Grace from Within benefit concerts. It delighted Patty to see her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren perform onstage and work backstage over the years.

Vicki was just 3-years-old when Grandma Patty made the wise decision to enroll her in dance classes. The rest, as they say, is history.

We look forward to seeing you at this always-fun event!

GSTC Summer Camp - June 13-17 / Grades K-12

2015 Broadway Divas & Dudes Camp
2015 Hip Hop & Jazz Starz Camp
Families can now register online to hold their spot in camp this summer. There is no up-front fee for this service. Your reserved spot will be confirmed with your camp tuition payment, which will be auto-charged on May 15. This is a terrific way to get into the camp of your choice without an early financial commitment.

Click HERE to register.

BROADWAY DIVAS & DUDES (9 a.m.-Noon)
Kids will meet daily from 9 a.m.-Noon to learn exciting new dance routines from Broadway's most popular shows! Every morning, kids will enjoy three 45-minute dance classes in multiple dance disciplines including tap, jazz and lyrical dance. They will have one 15 minute snack break and 30 minutes at the end of each day to show off their newly acquired skills to other campers. There will be a performance on the last day at 11 a.m. Parents are invited to view the final performance. Students should wear dancewear or comforta
ble clothes, sneakers and/or dance shoes.

HIP HOP & JAZZ STARZ (1-4 p.m.)
Jazz and Hip hop dance is fun, high energy, and upbeat! Your young dancer will begin each class with a thorough warm up taught to fast, bass-pumping music. Dancers learn to isolate their bodies with control, precision, and rhythm. Students will learn choreographed combinations, have the opportunity to choreograph their own moves and are encouraged to freestyle and just groove to the music! On the last day of camp, parents are invited to attend a 30 minute informal showing at 3 p.m. where students show off their moves and perform a short routine in unison. Students should wear dancewear or comfortable clothes, sneakers and/or jazz shoes.

TUITION
$135 - One Camp
$240 - Both Camps (Pick up at Noon, Return at 1 p.m.)
$265 - Both Camps plus lunch hour from Noon-1 p.m. (Dancers must provide their own lunch and beverage.)

GSTC Faculty News

In January, Miss Megan headed West to begin her new role as a cast member of the 2016 LA-based Royal FLUX Dance Company! Megan's contract with Royal FLUX has just been extended through August and, therefore, she will not be returning to teach in April as originally expected. Megan has also decided to remain in LA indefinitely to continue to pursue dance in the big city. We congratulate Miss Megan and wish her well on this new adventure!

Interim teachers are doing an incredible job and will continue teaching Megan's classes up through the recital.

Megan considers G. Scotten Talent Center her "home" studio and will continue to teach master classes, substitute teach and set choreography on our Performing Troupe. In fact, Megan will be back in the studio subbing her regular classes Monday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 29. We're all looking forward to seeing her soon!

3rd Annual Performing Troupe Banquet

Troupe and Tiny Talent members rolled out their routines for pre-competition showcase at our third annual performing troupe banquet on January 17. Prior to the event at Park Tudor School, we celebrated in the Wood Room at Park Tudor with scrumptious catered meal from Buca di Beppo followed by sundaes from Handel's. The evening concluded with Bingo and the announcement of our GSTC scholarship winners. Congratulations Olivia Elliott, Sydney Brown, Olivia Causey and Elise Wang! Thank you to all of our wonderful dancers and parents for making this such a success!
