Saginaw County Republican Lincoln Day Gala
The Saginaw County Republican Party will hold its annual Lincoln Day event on Saturday, March 5, 2016.  This year's event will be at the Birch Run Expo Center, 11600 N. Beyer Road, at I-75 Exit 136, Birch Run, and will be catered by Sullivan's Black Forest Catering.

Festivities begin at 6:00pm with a cocktail hour, and dinner is at 7:00pm.  We will announce results of a Presidential Primary Straw Poll at 9:30 and keep on partying until 11:00pm.  Musical entertainment will be provided by The Justified Quartet, the keynote address will be by Congressman John Moolenaar of Michigan's 4th District, and host and MC will be State Representative Tim Kelly.

There will also be a special tribute to Mackinac Center for Public Policy to be presented by 98th District State Representative Gary Glenn.  You can also take this opportunity to sign up as Precinct Delegates: we will handle the paperwork.

AND, we have confirmed that Presidential Candidate and Ohio Governor John Kaisich will be there as our special guest!  Tickets are $50 per person and are available at Eventbrite, or by calling Greg Schmidt at 989-799-4641.  While at Eventbrite, you can listen to a sample of music from The Justified Quartet or take part in an early Presidential Primary Straw Poll, the results of which will be announced at the party.

So buy your tickets today and come celebrate with your fellow Republicans!

Presidential Debate in Detroit!
The Republican National Committee has confirmed Detroit's Fox Theatre as the location of the March 3rd Republican Presidential Debate.  Fox News will air the debate that evening, likely beginning at 9:00pm.  As you can imagine, demand for tickets to watch the debate in person has been enormous!  If you want to attend the debate in person, please visit the Michigan Republican Party website and fill out the debate ticket request form.  (NOTE: If you have already filled out that form, filling it out again will not improve your chances of attending the debate.)  They still aren't certain of the number of tickets we'll have available for the debate, but they are going to give out as many tickets as possible. If you are successful, you should be notified early next week.

The Republican mission seeks to maintain a strong defense, encourage individual achievement and liberty through the free enterprise system, and strengthen families.  If you would like to help us move the area and the country towards these goals, please consider donating to the Saginaw County Republican Committee.  Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help ensure that we can find and elect people to work for those goals.  You can do so by mail to PO BOX 6653, Saginaw, MI  48608 or on the web at newsletter@saginawcountygop.org.
