The upcoming new year will prove to be one of the most exciting and challenging years that our Republican Party has ever experienced. Stay tuned for future announcements about our upcoming events, and Republican National Convention updates. Together, we will make it a very successful year to ensure the election of all of our Republican candidates including the next President! I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! A special Congratulations to our Executive Committee member, Cody Harris, who will be getting married New Year's Eve Day! We wish the happy couple all the best!
Also, a special thank you to those of you who attended our SCRP Christmas Party. It was so great to see everyone, and I really appreciated your special donations to our Toys for Tots drive. Don't forget the SCRW's annual Christmas party was re-scheduled for January 7th, 2016 at 6:00pm. See below for details.
Our next regular meeting will be held on January 14th, 2016 at 7:00pm, a special pre-meeting for all Precinct Delegates will begin at 6:00pm. Light refreshments will be served. Both meetings will be at the Thomas Twp Safety Building, 8215 Shields Dr, Saginaw, MI 48609. We have a lot of work to do, but I am confident that if we all work together we can make 2016 the best year ever!

Saginaw County Republican Women's Club Christmas Party
|  Unfortunately, the Saginaw County Republican Women's Club Christmas Party was cancelled by an unexpected loss of electricity at the Saginaw Country Club. The good news is - You get a second chance!
The party will now be held on Thursday, January 7th, 2016 at the Saginaw Country Club, 4465 Gratiot Road, Saginaw. Everything else is the same. The reception and cash bar open at 6:00pm, with dinner seating at 6:30pm. Cost is $35.00 per person. In addition to our traditional Christmas dinner and celebration, we will be raffling a beautiful, hand made American Flag themed quilt, and collecting contributions for the Underground Railroad and the Saginaw Pregnancy Counseling Center. The Saginaw Pregnancy Counseling Center needs diapers and new or "gently used" baby items. Contact us for the "wish list" of the Underground Railroad. 4th Congressional District Roundup for 2016
|
The 2016 4th Congressional District Round-Up will be held on January 8th and 9th, 2016 at the Doherty Hotel, 604 N McEwan Street, Clare. Featured guests will be Congressman John Moolenaar and Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette. The opening reception will be hosted by Michigan GOP Chair Ronna Romney McDaniels. Many state legislators will be present for meet and greet discussions.
The event begins at 6:00pm, Friday, January 8th and concludes after lunch on Saturday, January 9th. Registration for the full event, including dinner, breakfast and lunch, is $90 per person. You can also register for only a single day at $50 per person. To register, send your check, payable to:

The 12th District Republicans Present "Secret Soldier"

The 12th District Republicans present Kris Paronto, "Secret Soldier". Kris is a former Army Ranger and the co-author of the book turned movie "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi." The movie will be released on January 15th just 6 days before this event. The event is a live presentation by Kris Paronto on January 21st, 2016 at the Italian American Banquet Center, 39200 West Five Mile Rd., Livonia.
The event begins at 5:30pm with a VIP reception and light hors d'oeuvres with an open bar. Dinner is at 7:00pm. Cost is $50 and tickets can be reserved at Eventbrite. As a member of the six man United States Security Annex team that responded to the American Embassy on September 11, 2012, Kris fought heroically to save the lives of State Department officials in the 13 hours following the attack. Kris will be sharing his perspective of what took place in Benghazi before, during and after the attack. He will take questions and will be available for book signings as well.

Battle Cry Michigan Conservative Training Session

If you believe it's becoming increasingly difficult to tell the difference between the Republicans and the Democrats, and that it's our party and it's time we took it back, you may want to attend Battle Cry Michigan.
Battle Cry Michigan is a conservative gathering and networking event that will inspire and teach you how we take back our party, one precinct at a time. The event will be held from Friday, January 29th, 2016, beginning at 6:00pm, through Saturday January 30th, ending at 4:00pm. Battle Cry Michigan will be at FireKeepers Event Center, 11177 East Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek (off I-94 - Exit 104).
If you are tired of working hard to elect Republicans who promise limited government BUT after they're elected, they instantly abandon their campaign promises, then you should attend. Battle Cry will inspire and teach you how we take back our party: back to our platform, back to our Principles and Constitutional values, back to a Genuine Republican Party we can be proud of again.
