Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference

It's going to be a fantastic weekend to hear from influential Republicans from across the country, so don't miss out.  The conference now has at least 6 keynote speakers lined up: Senator Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Governor Jeb Bush, Governor Scott Walker, Governor John Kasich, and Senator Rand Paul!

Registration is in full swing for the 31st Biennial Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference. This year's conference will be held September 18-20.  Many of you have already taken advantage of registering for the conference online and reserving rooms at the historic Grand Hotel. General registration closes on August 14th. The current price is $100 per person, but that will increase once general registration closes. If you have not had the chance to register, you should consider doing so now.  Registration can be done at http://www.mackinac2015.com/.

To book a room within any of the reserved hotel blocks, you must have a conference registration code. A list of these hotels and their contact information, as well as room rates, can be found at mackinac2015.com/hotel-information.

We hope that you are able to join us at the 31st Biennial Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference and we look forward to seeing you on the Island. If you have any questions regarding hotels or conference registration, please do not hesitate to contact Andrea Bommarito by e-mail or at 517-487-5413.

New Smartphone App Keeps You Connected to Your Representatives
As a member and supporter of the Saginaw County Republican Party, we are always trying to offer new and exciting benefits to fellow Republicans.
Today, we offer you a FREE app for your smartphone called VoteSpotter.  Votespotter is an app that can be installed right on your smartphone and will allow you to see how your elected officials voted on any issue. It also helps you to connect instantly with their office so that your voice can be heard - whether you agree or disagree.  All of this done right on your smartphone with a couple of clicks.

How many times have you wanted to tell Sen. Debbie Stabenow how much you disagree with her vote on an issue?  Well, now you can! VoteSpotter is a powerful tool that will help you not only stay connected with what is happening in Lansing and Washington, but also allows you to share their votes on social media to keep your family, friends and those interested in politics aware of what is happening, and at no cost to you because it is free.

If we are truly going to change Michigan and America we must stay informed about what is happening politically while we are working, raising a family and living our life. Instead of finding out second hand from others, now we can directly look at how they voted on any bill before them, and make certain that they hear from us.

With the critical issues being considered right now it is vitally important that Republicans are informed - that's why we are recommending you download VoteSpotter on your smartphone and start using it today. Our Party will be more effective at advocating for issues that are important to us if we have an informed membership who can make our voices heard and directly hold their elected officials accountable for their actions in Lansing or DC.

Take a minute to check out the Votespotter website and download VoteSpotter at the app store on your phone. You'll be glad you did.

The Republican mission seeks to maintain a strong defense, encourage individual achievement and liberty through the free enterprise system, and strengthen families.  If you would like to help us move the area and the country towards these goals, please consider donating to the Saginaw County Republican Committee.  Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help ensure that we can find and elect people to work for those goals.  You can do so by mail to PO BOX 6653, Saginaw, MI  48608 or on the web at newsletter@saginawcountygop.org.

Sincerely,
Amy Carl, Chair, Saginaw County Republican Party
