Annual Tridge Picnic
Congressman John Moolenaar will pick up where his predecessor Dave Camp left off, and host the Annual Tridge Picnic in Midland.  This year's picnic will be on Monday, June 22nd, from 5:00-7:00pm.  As usual, it will be near the Tridge, behind the H Hotel downtown.  There will be balloons, hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, and fun for the entire family!  Tickets are $45 per family.  Please make checks payable to: John Moolenaar for Congress.  You can make reservations at 989-600-4163.

Juneteenth Commemoration in Okemos
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration of the ending of slavery in the United States, dating back to 1865.  This year, the Mid-Michigan Republican Women's Club and the Republican Women's Federation of Michigan are jointly hosting a Juneteenth commemoration in Okemos.  The event will be at Gilbert & Blake's Restaurant, 3554 Okemos Road, Okemos.

The event is from 5:00-7:00pm, Friday, June 19th.  Featured speaker is Kevin Fobbs, who has written for many publications including the Detroit News, GOPUSA, and Cleveland Examiner.  Kevin was also the host of The Kevin Fobbs Show on AM-1400 in Detroit.

There is no charge and no RSVP is required.  Light food and non-alchohol beverages are complimentary.

Warrior Appreciation Rally 2015
A free, family friendly, carnival style event offering a free picnic lunch for all Michigan veterans and their families will be held on Saturday, June 27th.  The Warrior Appreciation Rally will be at Independence Village, 255 Mayer Rd, Frankenmuth.  Festivities run from 2:00-5:00pm. Enjoy music, entertainment, food, and activities and games for all ages. There will be informational booths and displays. Come rain or shine and don't forget a lawn chair!  This event is FREE to all veterans and their families.

Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference
Registration is in full swing for the 31st Biennial Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference. This year's conference will be held September 18-20.  Many of you have already taken advantage of registering for the conference online and reserving rooms at the historic Grand Hotel. If you have not had the chance to register, you should consider doing so early.  Registration can be done at http://www.mackinac2015.com/.

To book a room within any of the reserved hotel blocks, you must have a conference registration code. A list of these hotels and their contact information, as well as room rates, can be found at mackinac2015.com/hotel-information.
