Michigan Republican Party Elects New National Committeewoman
Just this past Saturday, the State Committee of the Michigan Republican Party elected Kathy Berden as our National Committeewoman.  She replaces Ronna Romney McDaniel, who was elected our State Party Chair in February.  Kathy lives in the thumb community of Snover, in Sanilac County.  She had been endorsed by Representative Candice Miller, who represents the Congressional District covering Snover.  Kathy was also endorsed by our own Saginaw County Executive Committee member, Paul Mitchell.  Congratulations to Kathy Berden!

 

Tri-City 9-12 Group Meeting

The Tri-City 9-12 Group will meet TONIGHT, Monday, May 11th at 6:00pm, at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant, 2854 Wilder Rd, Bay City.  More information on the group is at www.freedomconnector.org /Tri City 912.
Clinton and Ingham County Republican Parties to Host Jeb Bush as Speaker
The Clinton County Republican Party and Ingham County Republican Party will be holding their joint Lincoln Day Dinner on Thursday, May 28th.  The Keynote Speaker will be former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.  More details on the time and location of the event will be forthcoming, but you can save the date now! 

Governor Bush was elected in 1998 and in 2001, becoming the first Republican to win reelection in Florida's history. Governor Bush presided over balanced budgets, record job growth and more than $19 billion in tax relief for Floridians. He is also well known for his landmark reforms of education and Medicaid and reduction of state government.

Warrior Appreciation Rally 2015
A free, family friendly, carnival style event offering a free picnic lunch for all Michigan veterans and their families will be held on Saturday, June 27th.  The Warrior Appreciation Rally will be at Independence Village, 255 Mayer Rd, Frankenmuth.  Festivities run from 2:00-5:00pm. Enjoy music, entertainment, food, and activities and games for all ages. There will be informational booths and displays. Come rain or shine and don't forget a lawn chair!  This event is FREE to all veterans and their families.
