Republican Women's Federation of Michigan Offers Common Core Workshop
|
Federal and State education mandates have moved like a glacier taking over local control of our schools. Common Core State Standards have shown us the warning tip of a worrisome iceberg. Michigan lags behind other parts of the country in drafting legislation to protect parental rights over the education of their children. The Republican Women's Federation of Michigan is joining other education activists in an effort to inform parents, teachers, school board members, school administrators and Michigan Legislators. This could be the most important grassroots issue in our generation.
The Republican Women's Federation of Michigan is looking to establish a circle of informed, concerned citizens in each Michigan County, House and Senate District willing to monitor the drastic changes proposed for our education system and to advise and lead concerned and confused parents to action.
We will be hosting a training seminary: WE NEED YOU!
