Volunteers Needed
|

A small group of Saginaw conservatives have an exciting project ready to roll out next week and need volunteers to make some phone calls to collect data from people. We would like to accomplish this in 3-4 weeks.
Hoping to rally 50 people or more. The more people we get, the less time it will take each person. If you have a tablet or smart phone you can do it from the comfort of your own home. If you don't have a tablet or smartphone, we will try to supply one to you.
We have a list of 20,000 voters in Saginaw County that we want to poll. We are NOT asking for money OR promoting a candidate. This is an issues poll.
We will be asking them questions about Proposal 1, and some questions about their philosophy and belief systems when it comes to government "working or not working" for the people.
We will hold some train sessions in Saginaw at the end of next week to show you how to log into the system and complete calls. No lists to follow, just log in, a name and number come up in the queue, you dial, input answers and go on to the next. The script is written for you and all you have to do is follow it and enter their answers. So easy!
This project is mainly about Proposal 1, but we will also be collecting data for the future of Saginaw County so as to build a data base of possible new conservative voters.
Please email Kathy Dwan a note with your email and phone number if you want to help. She will start a volunteers email list. Feel free to rally some friends too....we can use the help!
Thank you in advance! Kathy Dwan

The Coalition Against Higher Taxes is hosting a rally at the State Capitol in Lansing on Wednesday, April 15th. The event will be from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the corner of Allegan St and Capitol St on the Capitol Lawn. All taxpayers are invited to come and show their opposition to the proposed sales tax increase. The rally will feature information on the details of what will happen if the proposal is approved, such as:
- What other laws will be triggered,
- Not all of your tax dollars will go to fix the roads,
- What this is going to cost the average family,
- The fiction that we either approve this or get nothing. There are other plans out there,
- What you can do to get information out to others before the May 5th election.
