Day at the Capitol
|

Americans for Prosperity Michigan (AFC) would like you to join them for a citizen activist "Day at the Capitol" on Wednesday, December 10th.
Michigan drivers pay one of the highest taxes on gas in the country, yet 40% of the tax revenue raised at the pump doesn't fund roads. If you believe raising taxes on drivers by 40 cents-per-gallon or more is not the answer to our road funding problem, come to the capitol to lobby your legislators. Repeal of prevailing wage laws is just one of many policies that could help fix our roads without tax hikes. If you have other ideas, come to the capitol.
A complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided to all who come out to lobby their lawmakers. Travel scholarships for this event are also available. AFC will provide training, informational materials, and an exciting and energizing speaker. Contact Berverly or call 517- 853-9073 for more information. Or register here for a Day at the Capitol.
